One of our Ninja core competencies is HubSpot onboarding of the different hubs (Sales, Marketing, Service, Operations). We help companies to make a smooth transition to the new CRM environment and in this way also support the optimization of processes. In this article, we will explain in more detail what this looks like.
First of all, one of the central questions that we are asked again and again:
As a certified HubSpot agency, what advantage can we offer in onboarding?
Due to its size, HubSpot itself offers standardized service and training packages, whereas we, as a HubSpot Partner Agency, can respond to the needs and requirements of our customers in a much more individual way. Add to that our years of experience in sales, marketing and business development, and the onboarding process is complete.
Phases of onboarding
1. kick-off
We start with a kick-off workshop in which we discuss the status quo of your sales, marketing and/or service department. Together, we look at where the pain points are and where we or HubSpot can support you. We also set goals, expectations and the implementation/project plan with clear KPIs.
2. CRM Setup & Data Import
The second step is to set up the CRM according to your needs. This means we work with you to determine the data fields and structure you need, find out if any integrations to other programs are necessary, and incorporate HubSpot tracking into your website. If data already exists – whether in another CRM system or an Excel sheet – we clean it up and import it into HubSpot.
3. (Team) Onboarding
Once the CRM is set up and the data is imported, your team will be trained. We do a workshop where we discuss everything calmly and answer any questions so that your team can start working with HubSpot in a relaxed way. Depending on your needs, we’re also happy to do additional workshops to clear up any ambiguities and allow your team to focus on lead generation, conversion optimization and customer acquisition.
4. sales/marketing/service hub setup
Once HubSpot is up and running and being used by your team in LIVE, that’s where the really cool optimization and automation features come in. In this step, we’ll discuss how you can use HubSpot even more efficiently or how HubSpot can make your life easier. Depending on which hub you primarily use (sales/marketing/service), we work with you to develop possible automations and campaigns. There are many features here in the respective hubs that can make your processes much more efficient. Also, HubSpot should allow you to see at a glance any marketing/sales/service events.
5. reporting setup
The final step is primarily about creating dashboards with reports that help you measure key KPIs. The sky’s the limit here – you can create a report for all the data you have in HubSpot. This way, your activities are measurable and you can see at a glance – in so-called dashboards – where you are at any time.
The duration and scope of onboarding varies from company to company and is dependent on your needs. Generally, we hand over a “turnkey solution” with which your team can work efficiently. Of course, we are always available to answer questions or help our customers with new challenges and are happy to support them in the further course of their work with HubSpot.
